The Trustees of the Blackwell Industrial Authority met in regular session on Wednesday, August 8, 2011, at 11:45 A.M., in the Chamber Conference Room, 120 S. Main, Blackwell, Oklahoma.

The following Trustees were present:

The meeting was opened by Chairman Darrel Grossardt at 11:45 A.M.

The BNGRR needs to make repairs to bridges in the South Haven, Kansas region.  Before repairs can take place, an engineering study needs to be done to analyze needed repairs, at a cost of $3,500.
Ross Cline made a motion to pay for the bridge study, using the Authority Rail Improvement Fund.  Greg Sandy seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  Voting for:  Cline, Grossardt and Sandy.  Voting against:  None.

Greg Sandy made a motion to approve a purchase agreement with Helena Chemical for a 15-acre tract in the Blackwell Industrial Authority former school land property for $37,500.  Ross Cline seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  Voting for:  Cline, Grossardt and Sandy.  Voting against:  None.

Ross Cline made a motion to authorize Jeff Seymour to advertise for bid the mowing or baling of 38 acres just south of Electron in the West Blackwell Industrial Park First Addition.  Greg Sandy seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  Voting for:  Cline, Grossardt and Sandy.  Voting against:  None.

There being no further business, Ross Cline made a motion to adjourn at 11:55 A.M.  Greg Sandy seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
