BIA MEETING, NOVEMBER 21 2012
The Trutees of the Blackwell Industrial Authority met in regular session on November 21, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. in the Chamber Conference Room, 120 South Main, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
The Trustees of the BLACKWELLL INDUSTRIAL AUTHORITY met on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 8:00 A.M., in the Chamber Conference Room, 120 S. Main, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
The following Trustees were present:
Chairman Darrel Grossardt
Vice Chairman Ross Cline
Secretary Mike Loftis
2nd Asst. Secretary Steve Marquardt
The following Trustees were not present:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Darrel Grossardt at 8:00 a.m.
Discussion and action was taken on the Consent Agenda. Ross Cline made a motion to accept the Consent Agenda and Mike Loftis seconded the motion. Motion carried. Voting for: Darrel Grossardt, Ross Cline, Mike Loftis, Steve Marquardt. Voting against: None.
At 8:04 Jim Menzer entered the room.
Chairman’s Report: Darrel Grossardt gave a report on A&A Tank land closing and reported it is nearly complete. A&A Tank Truck Company is having a Phase II site assessment done at their cost holding up the completion of the contract.
HMT contract is still out.
The loans with the three banks is finalized.
Finalization on the Shebester-Bechtel property sale should be by the first week of December.
Darrel Grossardt will be getting in contact with Geoff Brueggemann from Brueggemann Engineering to finalize the HMT roof bid.
Trustee’s Report: None
Discussion and action taken regarding refund of ag lease to Hiatt Family for acres removed from ag production. Mike Loftis made a motion to refund the Hiatt Family $1,305.30 for acreage taken out of the ag lease. Ross Cline seconded the motion. Motion carried. Voting for: Darrel Grossardt, Mike Loftis,
Ross Cline, Steve Marquardt. Voting against: None.
Discussion regarding 13th Street water line cost share. The City of Blackwell has contacted the BIA concerning partial payment of 13th street water line cost share. Mark Skiles, City Manager, will be contacted to find out how much is needed. No action was needed on this item since the BIA has already consented to help with the cost up to $50,000.00 in the March 21, 2012 meeting.
Consideration and possible action to enter into an executive session. No action needed.
There being no further business Steve Marquardt made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 a.m. Ross Cline seconded the motion. Motion carried. Voting for: Darrel Grossardt, Mike Loftis, Ross Cline, Steve Marquardt. Voting against: None.
